Walker’s first commercial office tower in Maroochydore City Centre is fast taking shape.
The $90 million,15 storey premium office tower will feature a grand lobby space with high ceilings, concierge and café with a panoramic rooftop. The prime tower offers Premium A Grade office space with some of Maroochydore’s largest floors, measuring greater than 1,000 sqm per level.
Walker Corporation Chief Executive Officer David Gallant said 50 First Avenue will build on the growing sophistication of the Maroochydore City Centre.
“50 First Avenue has the ability to attract big tenants and create hundreds of great jobs for the future for our Sunshine Coast locals,” Mr Gallant said.
“This is a signature statement from Walker offering the highest sustainability credentials and exceptional workplace facilities, catering for a modern, flexible workforce.
“50 First Avenue symbolises our placemaking vision with our project partners, SunCentral and Sunshine Coast Council to create a dynamic, vibrant and active location where people love to work, live and socialise.”
50 First Avenue will take advantage of the new high-speed submarine cable giving businesses in the Maroochydore CBD an unrivalled advantage of some of the fastest data rates in the world.
Sustainability is at the forefront of all Walker buildings and 50 First Avenue will be built to achieve a NABER’s 5-star energy rating.
The building will provide tenants with first class end-of-trip facilities including bike storage, showers, amenities, and lockers.
