A new eight-storey public car park has opened in Maroochydore City Centre, providing an additional 294 car spaces and end of trip facilities.
The public car park, situated on Lightning Lane, includes accessible parking and electric vehicle charging spaces, as well as 39 motorcycle and 28 bicycle spaces.
PARKnGO Lightning Lane is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, offering stress-free parking options and amenities equipped with showers and toilets in the growing commercial hub.
The car park’s design, which incorporates elements inspired by the nearby Maroochy River, also aims to enhance Maroochydore’s coastal character while ensuring user safety through well-lit spaces and clear sight lines.
In addition to the parking spaces, the ground floor of the car park includes space for commercial tenancies, further contributing to the city centre’s economic growth.
